PayoutTax gives estimates for planning only. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not prepare or file tax returns. Your actual tax depends on facts the calculator doesn't ask about. Confirm your situation with a CPA or other qualified tax professional before you act on any number shown here.

Scope

PayoutTax is for US taxpayers. It estimates federal income tax, self-employment tax and some state income taxes on prop firm payouts using published figures for the tax year shown. It does not cover capital gains, credits, deductions it doesn't ask about, local taxes or non-US taxes.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the tax figures accurate and cite their sources, but we don't guarantee that any estimate is complete, current or correct for you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for taxes, penalties, interest or other losses arising from your use of the site.

No affiliation

PayoutTax is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any prop firm. Firm names, if mentioned, are used only to describe where payouts come from.
